Buddies, planning is a very vital aspect of every trip! Let me share our experience with you guys. Well, it was some six months back when we three friends went to Manali for a sight seeing trip. We had to come to Delhi for some urgent work, concerning one of our friends. The journey was made comfortable by the one night’s Volvo bus service. As soon as we reached the capital city, we booked a taxi and asked the driver to take us to one of the luxury hotels in Delhi.
The taxi driver took us to three of the hotels in Delhi in the star category. The rates in one of the hotels didn’t suit our budget and the rest two were hundred percent occupied. Probably we were taken to the wrong hotels. Though we always prefer staying in star hotels, yet we had to compromise given the sudden planning. Had we booked earlier online before leaving Manali, there would have been no hassles. We stayed in a budget hotel; we did like the ambience, the facilities, and the hospitality. I am inclined to say New Delhi hotels are a class apart!
